One recent development has been the establishment of Showtracker, for which TAPE has partnered with Applied Image Recognition Ltd. (AIR), a global supplier of advanced computer vision and image recognition technology.
Showtracker was created to develop and market a real time, fully automated system for content tracking that can tell rights owners within seconds of transmission, where their programme or product has been broadcast anywhere in the world. It can also monitor and report on brand exposure for product placement and sponsorship purposes, all without the requirement for any coding or watermarking of the original content.
